RISO printing
I’m open for job printing! Currently, I print for Ghost Proposal, The Year, and various pals from my home studio in Western Mass.
What is risography? Though a RISO machine may look like a copier, the risograph process is one of duplication. It’s much closer to screenprinting. Each color is layered one at a time using interchangable inking drums. Smudging, slight shifts in registration, and variations in coverage are part of what gives it a handmade feel.
Possible uses for risograph printing: Postcards, posters, chapbooks, pamphlets, protest signs, zines, show cards, invitations, fine art prints, broadsides, photos, infinite possibilities etc. <3
